After more than 30 years working at an executive level in operations and manufacturing, both in the UK and overseas, I decided it was time to do something different – something that felt more personal and rewarding. That’s what led me to Business Doctors, where I now work alongside Wicus van Biljon, supporting small and medium-sized businesses across Scotland.
My background is in science and engineering, and I’ve always enjoyed solving problems, improving processes, and helping teams work better together. Over the years, I’ve lived and worked in the USA and Australia, leading operations, managing change, and developing people in all sorts of settings. I’m also a qualified mediator, which comes in handy when things get a bit tricky, whether it’s a tough decision, a team issue, or just too much on your plate.
These days, my focus is on giving back. I want to share what I’ve learned to help business owners make confident decisions, get unstuck, and build something that works for them, not just on paper, but in real life. I’m not here to overcomplicate things. I’m here to listen, support, and help you find a practical way forward.
