Description

An open forum for business owners and leaders to explore the benefits of a strong ESG strategy.

Come and join us, and other like-minded Worcestershire based business owners, for this key discussion around which ESG opportunities you should prioritise and make a part of the DNA of your business.

Why have an ESG strategy?

  1. It’s the right thing to do!
  2. It will provide a good platform for growth and is attractive to customers and staff alike.
  3. It makes any business more attractive to inward investment.

The event is hosted by Steve Ennis of Business Doctors and our three expert panellists are Liz Barclay, UK Small Business Commissioner, Emma Whitehouse, owner of Whitehouse Legal and Dominic Lavelle, Owner of Go Green Experts.

We have provided a brief biography on each of our panellists. We look forward to seeing you for this interactive event on May 22.

Emma Whitehouse

Since founding Whitehouse Legal to provide corporate, commercial and governance services to start-ups and SMEs, Emma has used her experience to successfully work across a range of business types, including tech companies, a market leader in the financial services sector, and a global energy-efficient smart motor company. She supports entrepreneurs in each case to ensure all legal and compliance essentials are in place, protecting them, and their innovations, as both businesses and individuals. With a strong foundation in governance principles, Emma brings valuable expertise in the governance element of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations, ensuring that companies adhere to ethical standards and enhance their overall sustainability efforts. Her extensive legal experience has not only given her the ability to solve complex legal and procedural problems for clients, but has also enabled her to achieve this in a collaborative and non-confrontational manner. This is achieved through several key assets; a high level of emotional intelligence, confident communication skills, and the love of the challenge of finding a solution to any problem that may arise. She can work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment as required, whilst empowering the people she works with to enhance their own skills and confidence.
